At home the Birminghams have an active lifestyle with their "small" breeding program of German - American stock Rottweilers. Apollo, their 4 yr old male is a romping stomping 185 lbs of shear muscle. His mother, Sonja Mariah (Sunny) is also of the same stock and is 138 lbs. In addition to the dogs, they also have 8-10 outside cats (depending on who is doing the counting) and two birds, one love bird and and one blue fronted Amazon. Although Lois and Tom wish they had the property to keep their Arabian horse Windell at home, they currently board her with their long time friend and trainer Rhonda Wright in New Hope, PA.
